Trauma Therapy
Trauma therapy is a specialized form of counseling designed to help individuals heal from past traumatic experiences and reduce the impact of trauma on their lives. Through a variety of evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance Therapy (ACT), and somatic experiencing, trauma therapists assist clients in processing difficult memories, managing distressing symptoms, and rebuilding a sense of safety and empowerment. The goal of trauma therapy is to promote healing, resilience, and a greater sense of well-being, allowing individuals to move forward with their lives and thrive despite past adversity.
DBT Individual Therapy
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) individual therapy is a specialized form of treatment focused on helping individuals develop skills to manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and cope effectively with distressing situations. In DBT individual therapy sessions, clients work closely with a therapist to identify specific goals, learn practical strategies for emotion regulation and distress tolerance, and address problematic behaviors using a dialectical approach that balances acceptance and change. Through a combination of psycho education, skill-building exercises, and ongoing support, DBT individual therapy aims to empower clients to lead more balanced and fulfilling lives.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy, also known as marriage or relationship counseling, is a form of psychotherapy designed to help partners improve their relationship, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their bond. In couples therapy sessions, I facilitate open and honest communication between partners, explore patterns of interaction, identify underlying issues, and teach effective communication and problem-solving skills. Through collaborative discussions and structured exercises, couples learn to understand each other's perspectives, address areas of disagreement, and build trust and intimacy. The goal of couples therapy is to foster healthier and more fulfilling relationships, enabling partners to navigate challenges and thrive together.
Family Therapy
Family therapy, also known as family counseling, is a therapeutic approach that focuses on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening relationships within a family unit.
In family therapy sessions, a trained therapist works with all members of the family together to explore dynamics, identify patterns of interaction, and address issues affecting the family as a whole. Through open dialogue, empathy-building exercises, and problem-solving techniques, family members learn to understand each other's perspectives, express emotions constructively, and develop healthier ways of relating to one another. The goal of family therapy is to promote understanding, cohesion, and mutual support, fostering a more harmonious and resilient family environment.
Group Therapy
Group Therapy is a structured form of psychotherapy where a small group of people meet regularly with a trained therapist to share experiences, explore challenges, and develop coping strategies in a supportive, collaborative environment. Building Bonds Couples Workshop is an interactive, evidence-based program designed to help couples strengthen emotional connection, rebuild trust, improve communication, and deepen intimacy. Offered each Spring and Fall, this workshop creates a supportive space for couples to explore their relationship patterns and develop practical tools to grow together. Why Wasn’t I Enough? Journey to Healing from the Loss of Love is a 5-week virtual healing workshop designed for individuals who are ready to process their grief, make meaning of the loss, and reconnect with themselves in a compassionate, empowering way. The breakup doesn’t have to be recent—this space is for anyone who feels “stuck” and wants support in moving forward.

Supervision may include reviewing client progress, exploring ethical dilemmas, and addressing personal and professional challenges. The supervisor offers support, mentorship, and constructive feedback to help the supervise enhance their clinical competence, deepen their understanding of therapeutic concepts, and maintain ethical standards. The goal of individual weekly clinical supervision is to promote professional growth, ensure quality client care, and uphold ethical standards within the field of mental health.
